Lovedale is both foster Home
and learning center. We believe that by working with the
child, the family and the community, a greater impact
will occur. Relatives are expected to visit the child
atleast once a month to support the success of every child.
Educational workshops on topics such as alcoholism, nutrition
and hygiene, substance abuse, and HIV / AIDS awareness
and prevention are offered to parents and community members.
Social workers provide resources to parents and children
coping with domestic violence, neglect or abuse.
Our outreach program takes care of
the following;
Basic care for the entire
community with a focus on AIDS, TB and family Planning.
Hygiene in the community starting with
basic sanitation and a clean surroundings
Vocational Training of older siblings
and youth within communities
Women’s empowerment through income
generating programs to ensure continuity and stability
of household.
