Providing food,
shelter and medical care are primary components of poverty
mitigation. The holistic and meaningful approach of Lovedale
expands beyond basic survival needs of a child by long-term
and meaningful interventions.
Poverty in India can be defined as a situation only when a
section of peoples are unable to satisfy the basic needs of
life. The definition and methods of measuring poverty differs
from country to country. Alarming population Growth, Lack
of Investments, Lower Literacy Rate and Regional inequalities
are the most important reasons of a country’s poverty.
Our work requires tremendous commitment, long-term involvement
and dedicated professionals. The future is promising for our
children who are at Lovedale today, but it is the finest impact
of our work model that will truly reflects on a 360* development
of a child where he/she becomes a productive citizen for tomorrow. |
