SAFETY MEASURES FOR CHILDREN  

Lovedale has adhered to all statutory safety and security measures  ordered by the Supreme court for schools and organizations.

OUR SAFETY MEASURES

CCTV surveillance:

12 Closed circuit Cameras across our center ensures safe living for the children 24/7.

The CCTV surveillance is the key tool for our children’s safety today. Regular footages clearly

indicate any kind of anti-social behavior,child trafficking, etc.The footages recorded and replayed as and whenany issues arise. They help in controlling any trespassing, unauthorized visitors and activities like smoking, drug use, vandalism, and the like. 

• Lovedale has adequate capacity and numbers of fire extinguishers of ISI marks in eye-catching spot  in each floor of the school.

• First Aid kits and necessary medicines readily available in the school.

• Provision of water tank and separate piping from the tank with hose reel to the ground floor and first floor.

• Display of emergency telephone numbers and list of persons to be contacted on the notice board and other prominent places.
• Fire alarm separate long bell arrangement in case of emergency.
• All electrical wirings are with ISI Mark and routine maintenance are conducted.

•  No High Tension lines run inside or in close proximity to the school.

TRAINING OF SCHOOL TEACHERS & OTHER STAFF:

• The teachers along with other staff are trained to handle safety equipment, initiate emergency evacuations and protect the children  in the event of fire and other emergencies .

• Care takers are trained on emergency first-aid treatment Emergency Response Drills conducted at regular  intervals to train the students as well as the school staff.The staircases, which act as       exits or escape routes, are adhere to provisions specified in the National Building Code of India 2005 to ensure quick evacuation of children .The orientation of the buildings shall be in such a way that proper air circulation and lighting is available.
